🧠 Pedagogical Challenge
With Direct Subtraction mode active, use the translation and rotation controls to simulate small
misalignments on the conveyor. Notice that variations of a few pixels or degrees generate edges easy to confuse with real defects.
Increasing the tolerance threshold to ignore these edges reduces sensitivity, making the system blind to fine defects (such as the scratch on the left side).
When switching to Subtraction with Registration, alignment is restored before the difference, isolating the real defect precisely without false alarms.
